Brenda Dixon has more than 15 years of service to seniors in Central and Southwest Virginia. She joined The Summit as the Marketing Director in 2014. Prior to The Summit, she worked in sales, marketing and community relations in the home care industry, gaining valuable experience and knowledge that pairs well with the senior living industry.

She has a bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing from Liberty University with an emphasis on business. She is a graduate of the Leadership Lynchburg program through the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance and the Leading Age Leadership Academy through Leading Age Virginia.

Relocating from northern Pennsylvania, Brenda lives in Lynchburg with her husband, Chris, and together they have three children. She enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and running. She actively fundraises for the Alzheimer’s Association and volunteers with the local Lynchburg chapter.

Timmy joined The Summit team in 2018 as Facilities Supervisor and became Facilities Manager in 2021. He has been involved with the community for more than 10 years. Timmy has been a Virginia certified horticulturist through the Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association since 2008. Timmy has more than 15 years of combined building and grounds experience.

Timmy and his wife, Shannon, have been married for more than 14 years and have one son. He enjoys working with residents and taking care of their needs.

Lisa Watson is a registered nurse and the assisted living administrator. She is responsible for all aspects of assisted living. Lisa has been involved with The Summit for more than 20 years, as she coordinated the education, team hiring, and training for the Health and Rehab Center prior to its opening in 2004. She then began as the Assistant Director of Nursing at the Health and Rehab Center. She then transitioned to the assisted living Clinical Care Manager and then earned her Assisted Living Administrator license in 2010. Lisa was instrumental in the opening of the both the Health and Rehab Center and assisted living. Lisa enjoys working with the residents and is dedicated to helping them live their best lives.

Lisa is a native of Lynchburg and has two adult children. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Mitch has over two decades in the hospitality industry, most recently as the Food and Beverage Director for the Craddock Terry Hotel and Event Center, which included Shoemakers Grill and Waterstone Pizza. Prior to that, he was with Aramark as the General Manager for Longwood Dining and previously the Director of Dining at Randolph College.

Mitch has over two decades of hospitality experience, managing multi-unit operations and catering events. Mitch graduated with a bachelor of science from Florida State University and is a certified Serve Safe proctor and Instructor. Mitch has lived in the Lynchburg area for over 15 years and enjoys exploring the rich history and beautiful scenery with his wife Evie and  children, Thomas and Katherine.

The Summit welcomed Tiffany Coffey as the Resident Life Manager in July 2022.  Originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, Tiffany graduated from Radford University with a bachelor of science degree in exercise, sport, health education with a concentration in sports administration and management.  Tiffany has worked in the community for over 10 years, starting with the Lynchburg Hillcats.

In 2015 Tiffany became an Activities Director Certified (ADA) with the Virginia Health Care Association and began her career as an Activity Director for Liberty Ridge Health and Rehab.  Tiffany enjoys providing a fun, enriching, and fulfilling program for her residents at The Summit.

Tiffany has been married to her husband, Josh Coffey, for over 10 years and together they have three daughters and a boxer named Bella.  Tiffany and Josh enjoy spending time at the ball field watching their daughters play softball. When not at her daughters’ games, Tiffany can be found cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Dallas Cowboys, and Virginia Tech teams.
