🌟 Rising Talent Summer Series Spotlight 🌟
We're excited to introduce our Marketing Intern, Hannah Mead, a Marketing major at Christopher Newport University who is expected to graduate in May 2029.
Since joining The Chesapeake this summer, she has embraced opportunities to learn from team members, connect with residents, and gain hands-on experience in the world of marketing.
"I am incredibly excited to be working at The Chesapeake! Although I have only been here for two weeks, I have already learned so much. I've had the pleasure of meeting so many kind, engaging, and energetic residents and team members. Thank you to the team for welcoming me as an intern and thank you to the residents for so warmly welcoming me into your home. I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and build meaningful connections with this wonderful community."

Meet Minna Hamid, our Business Office Intern at The Chesapeake!
Minna is currently studying Economics at Virginia Tech with a minor in Data and Decisions and is expected to graduate in May 2027. Having worked at The Chesapeake for several years as a server, she's now exploring a new side of the organization through her internship in the Business Office:
"I'm excited to intern in the Business Office at The Chesapeake because I've worked here for several years as a server, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience a different side of the organization. I hope to develop my professional skills, gain insight into business operations, and learn the administrative and financial aspects of how a successful organization works together."
