Our Culinary Team
The Chesapeake’s chef and culinary team bring passion and expertise to every dish they create, always with a commitment to satisfy a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences while ensuring that every dining experience is nothing short of inspired.
Curt joined the Chesapeake and Lifespire family in August of 2024 after a 32 year career in hospitality at some of the country’s greatest golf resorts. Prior to The Chesapeake, Curt was the Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations for Kingsmill Golf Resort and Escalante Golf in Williamsburg Virginia and Ft. Worth Texas. His journey through hospitality has taken him from New Jersey to Miami and Tampa to where he is now, a proud Virginian for the last 28 years. He was the owner of Virginia Hospitality Services for 12 years before rejoining the Resort world in 2016. He lives in Gloucester, Virginia with his wife of 30 years, Theresa, and is the proud father of Ryan and Jason. He enjoys time on his boat or days adventuring in his old Jeep and considers the transition to Senior Living the best career move he has ever made.
