Expansion projects at Lakewood and The Culpeper are moving forward. At Lakewood, marketing specialists are scheduling daily appointments with members of Lakewood’s visionary club to review floor plans of our 64 new independent living residences. At our current rate of sales, we eagerly anticipate breaking ground this Fall.
Plans for The Culpeper are also well underway and on track. The Culpeper’s long overdue expansion will include a new front entrance, entrance road and building. We will change the access point to our community from Route 15 to Route 299, and the campus will turn to face the Blue Ridge Mountains. The new community will include a rehab-to-home neighborhood, memory care, skilled nursing, assisted living and residential apartments. We plan to break ground in early March of this year!
Even as we work hard to complete our expansion projects at Lakewood and The Culpeper, we also have a two- to four-year plan to renovate the interior of The Chesapeake, including new paint, new carpet and a new look and feel to the dining room.
